EXPERIENCE

Before starting my own practice, I was a clinician and former training coordinator at the Child Mind Institute, an internationally recognized program for children, adolescents and young adults with mental health and learning disorders. In this role, I provided individual and group treatment, as well as intensive treatment programs for children, adolescents and young adults dealing with a range of anxiety-related disorders, including ocd, phobias, social anxiety and selective mutism. I also developed a caregiver training program to support caregivers of children and teens with anxiety. As part of the Child Mind Institute’s intensive treatment programs, I worked with individuals and families from across the United States and internationally, including clients from Australia, Canada, Brazil, Egypt, Mexico and Turkey. In addition, I have presented on various topics at schools and professional conferences, established a social work training program and have supervised therapists in training, providing clinical guidance and support.
